چکیده
AbstractThe current study aimed to evaluate milk fat and fatty acids profile, nutrients digestibility lactating ewes’ performance as a response supplementing diets with spirulina algae or fish oil in barki ewes. Three experimental were used follow: Control diet based on 60:10:30 concentrate feed mixture (CFM), clover hay, bean straw (T1); control supplemented 10 ml of oil/ kg DM (T2), 5 g Spirulina Platensis / (T3). The results showed that T2 significantly improved (DM, OM, NDF, ADF, EE) compared (T1). No differences (p>0.05) recorded between groups different blood serum parameters, yield, energy corrected (ECM), (%) total solids yield. Supplementing platensis (T3) increased CLA, C18:3 n6, n3. T3 poly-unsaturated acid declined ∆9 desaturase index T1. the suggested had potential positive impact profile which have healthy benefit.

Comparison of ruminal lipid metabolism in dairy cows and goats fed diets supplemented with starch, plant oil, or fish oil.
Direct comparison of cow and goat performance and milk fatty acid responses to diets known to induce milk fat depression (MFD) in the bovine reveals relevant species-by-diet interactions in ruminal lipid metabolism. Thus, this study was conducted to infer potential mechanisms responsible for differences in the rumen microbial biohydrogenation (BH) due to diet and ruminant species. To meet this ...

Fatty acids profile of Spirulina platensis grown under different temperatures and nitrogen concentrations.
The influence of culture temperature and the concentration of sodium nitrate (NaNO3) on the gas-chromatographic profile of the fatty acids of the filamentous cyanobacterium Spirulina platensis was evaluated. We found that temperature was the most important factor and that the greatest amount of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) was obtained at 30 degrees C, the fatty acid profile of the Spirulina cult...
متن کاملEffect of Dietary Fish Oil Supplements on Levels of n-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids, trans Acids and Conjugated Linoleic Acid in Ewe Milk
Three groups of ten lactating Sardinian ewes were used between 3 and 6 month of lactation to determine the effects of supplementing diets with n-3 fatty acids on milk production and milk fat composition. The control group (A) was fed on a mixture of Gramineae hay with a pelleted alfalfa and concentrate; the other groups (B and C) were given the control ration supplemented with graded levels of ...
متن کاملButter composition and texture from cows with different milk fatty acid compositions fed fish oil or roasted soybeans.
Changing the milk fatty acid composition can improve the nutritional and physical properties of dairy products and their acceptability to consumers. A more healthful milk fatty acid composition can be achieved by altering the cow's diet, for example, by feeding supplemental fish oil (FO) or roasted soybeans (RSB), or by selecting cows with a more unsaturated milk fatty acid composition. We exam...
